Willie
Nelson born April 30 - 1933 and raised in Abbott -
Texas.
The young Nelsons' first musical experiences came from mail-order
courses his grandparents taught to him. Willie Nelson was given
his first guitar at age six. In 1956, Nelson
moved to Vancouver, Washington, to begin a
musical career, as a country singer recording "Lumberjack,"
which was written by Leon Payne. Willie Nelson
is widely recognized as an American icon and a great and popular
song writer, with hits like famously “Crazy”
- "Always On My Mind" - "On
The Road Again," and many more. |
