The Open Air Concert at Rosenborg Castle is a yearly traditional event arranged by the Royal Danish Theatre that gathers thousand of opera goers and new fans to experience opera and ballet performed in open air.

The Royal Theatre offers FREE ENTRY at Rosenborg Castle in the centre of Copenhagen to see the Open Air Opera and Ballet performances. Once more the Royal Danish Opera and ballet invites everyone to celebrate the opening of the new season 2014 and to be able to experience highlights from last season. Puccini - Verdi - Mozart and Lehàr. Take a big picnic basket and some cold bottles of wine with you and enjoy this special performance in green and historical surroundings. This open air concert is a must for opera & ballet-lovers and visitors - who want to enjoy the best from both worlds – fresh air at Rosenborg Castle and superb classic opera performance. In 2013 no less than 190.000 people were present at the two open air concerts. Duration - Approx. 3 hours incl. intermission.
