Melua) – British-Georgian singer born in 1984
and made her musical debut in 2003.
Katie Melua moved to Northern Ireland
at the age of 8 from Georgian SSR
and at the age of 14 she signed her first contract
that started her musical debut in 2003. The
British nightingale became famous, when she presented her second
album - Piece by Piece - whit the lead song
"Nine Million Bicycles in Beijing”.
To date the album has gone Platinum 4 times. In 2006
she was the biggest selling female artist in the UK
and Europe. In October 2007, Katie Melua released
her third studio album called - Pictures -
a album, which has delighted her legions of fans and confirmed
Katie’s status as a unique and remarkable vocalist. |
