The five star Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel on the isle of Amager
houses the only official Casino in the Danish capital

Spectacular view
The Radisson Blu Hotel Scandinavia is the largest hotel in Denmark
and was built in 1973 with 25 stories
and has a height of 86 metres, plus an exclusive
restaurant on the top, offering a spectacular view
over the harbour area, the old ramparts and the city. The Hotel
is located just a few minutes from the city centre.

The first and oldest Casino
The first and oldest official casino in Denmark is Casino
Marielyst situated on the North Coast of Zealand near
Elsinore. The permission to run a casino here with cash bets
and pay-outs was granted in 1902 by Prince
Frederik later King Frederik VIII. (1843–1912 –
King 1906-1912)
