At a beautiful location in the park area at Østre Anlæg in central Copenhagen, near the Nørreport and Østerport stations, you will find Statens Museum for Kunst, Denmark's National Gallery.All year round the collections at Statens Museum for Kunst consist of the Royal Collection of Paintings and Sculpture, the Royal Collection of Prints and Drawings, and the Royal Cast Collection. Statens Museum for Kunst presently owns approx. 9,000 paintings and sculptures, 300,000 drawings and prints, and more than 2,600 plaster casts. Nearly 3,000 works are on exhibition in the museum and there is free entry to the public.

The museum tells the story of Danish resistance during Nazi occupation 1940-1945. It springs from an exhibition called Fighting Denmark, arranged by the Resistance Council in the summer of 1945. In 1957 a permanent museum was opened on the present location. The exhibition you see today was inaugurated in 1995.

The Black Diamond is intended to be a point of convergence for Danish and foreign literature. 03/11 - PAUL ANKA - Falconer Center
One of the most legendary singers - performers and writers of all times Paul Anka was not only a teen idol at the age of 18 - he also wrote a song like "My way" (just to mention one). His latest CD is filled with swing versions of Van Halen - Nirvana and other rock bands. Rock swings - and Paul Anka does it at the age of 65. On his world tour he is visiting Copenhagen and will give a memorable concert for old and new fans. It will be a super big party and evening at the Falconer Center. 04/11 - JOAN BAEZ - Falconer Center
Legendary folk singer and songwriter Joan Baez - who has performed publicly for over 50 years and released over 30 albums and recorded songs in at least eight languages - will give a concert at the Falconer Center for all her new as well as old fans – and take the audience on a tour through memory lane.

Alecia Beth Moore - professionally known as Pink - is a two-time Grammy-winning American singer-songwriter who gained prominence in 2000 and has had continued success worldwide. Pink is an international star with fans from all over the world and has sold over 24 millions albums. The Funhouse Tour 2009 will land in Copenhagen – where Pink will give a concert at Forum.

Sir Cliff Richard celebrates his 50th year in show business together with is old backing group – The Shadows - and is set for a final European tour with a concert in Forum – Copenhagen.
