At a beautiful location in the park area at Østre Anlæg in central Copenhagen, near the Nørreport and Østerport stations, you will find Statens Museum for Kunst, Denmark's National Gallery.All year round the collections at Statens Museum for Kunst consist of the Royal Collection of Paintings and Sculpture, the Royal Collection of Prints and Drawings, and the Royal Cast Collection. Statens Museum for Kunst presently owns approx. 9,000 paintings and sculptures, 300,000 drawings and prints, and more than 2,600 plaster casts.
